Question of the Week: – Is there a part of your beauty routine that you absolutely will not skip, even when pressed for time?

Answer: I struggle to leave the house nowadays without some kind of skin-base.  It doesn’t have to be full-on foundation, a tinted moisturiser will do… it just makes me feel that little bit more confident.  I left the house the other day without mascara and didn’t even notice!!  My husband asked me (cautiously) if I’d done anything ‘weird’ to my eyelashes.  I reached up to touch them and instantly realised – I pressed him into telling me why they looked weird (I enjoy watching him squirm a bit) and he said that they looked like I’d dip-dyed them lighter at the tips!

Question of the Week: – Do you change your perfume with the seasons?

Answer: – No.  I favour headier, richer scents that are usually associated with Autumn and Winter… I can’t be doing with not being able to wear them all year round.  Perhaps if I lived somewhere with greater humidity, I’d change my mind but seeing as the UK only seems to recognise one season (rain), I’m doing ok with my warm ambers, rich tobaccos and intoxicating leathers all year round thankyouverymuch.

Question of the Week: – Your favorite type of eyeliner: cream, gel, pencil, liquid or something else?

Answer: — Unlike most beauty bloggers (it seems), I’m not a massive fan of gels or creams.  Everytime I reach for my eyeliner brush, it’s dirty – which means that either a). I’m a grot or b) I need a stash of cheap eyeliner brushes, but either way – it means that I’m too lazy to favour that style of liner.  At the moment, I’m mostly using liquid or powder but you still can’t beat a bit of smudgy kohl pencil for a smoky look.

Beauty Junkies Unite – See why we kinda love John Frieda after just using his new Loose Curls Curling Iron.
