Question of the Week – What holiday collection is on your must-have list this year?

Answer – Do you know… considering this is my favourite time of the year for collections… none of them.  Maybe I’m getting jaded (and I really, really hope not) but nothing stands out to me.  The closest I’ve gotten to an elevated heartbeat is the NARS & Andy Warhol Gift Set Collection (The Edie gift set is undeniably ca-ute).

Gouldylox Reviews – This week brought us another makeup wars and this collection is my favorite.

Nouveau Cheap – tries out one of the newly-reformulated Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes. Come see if its duochrome magic is worth a purchase.

Pink Sith – shares with you her Birchbox from November. Let her know your thoughts on this month’s offerings.

Prime Beauty – got her hands on the newest collaboration between Estee Lauder and Michael Kors. These makeup kits are droll-worthy and the bags are to-die-for!

Question of the Week: What beauty item(s) are you most happy to have purchased before it was discontinued?

Answer :- A couple of things, both of them NARS.  1). My NARS Crazed blusher because it’s such a HAWT flush of colour, pigmented like hell and when I get the heavy-handedness toned down, it looks lovely and 2). My NARS liquid eyeliner in Bullit – do you remember them?  They used to come in little glass vials that you’d dip a brush in?  Well, Bullit is the most crazy beautiful taupe/silver/bronze… gah, just stunning.

Lipglossiping – injects some fun into her beauty routine with Urban Decay’s latest mini-palette!

Gouldylox Reviews – This curling iron is part magic and part mystery. I don’t know why the curls last for DAYS, but they do. Check out the pictures for proof!

Nouveau Cheap – I’m so obsessed with my current favorite lipstick (retail: $6) that all of my other lip colors seem to be collecting dust right now.

Who inspired you to get into makeup?

Question of the Week: – How does your makeup routine change from summer to fall?

Answer: – The obvious ways to be honest… I start to moisturise more intensely, my use of oils increases and I have to start slathering on the lanolips!  The only other thing that really changes is that I reach for red lipsticks almost daily. <3

How does your makeup routine change from summer to fall?

Question of the Week: – Your three favorite haircare lines, name them…

Answer: – I don’t go that crazy for hair products and I’m really not very brand-loyal, but taking a peek in my bathroom cabinet reveals a lot of: Pantene/Osmo (for deep conditioning masques and colour care), The Body Shop for shampoo (Banana and Ice Blue Shampoo – how retro!), and Batiste for styling (dry shampoo ftw!) – I suppose they’re my essentials.

Question of the Week: – What compelled you to start a beauty blog?

Answer : – I was 8 months pregnant when I started Lipglossiping.com, basically desperate to find someone, anyone to talk to about frivolity.  Due to pregnancy complications, I hadn’t been able to get ‘out and about’, taking photographs as I once would have done for my old blog and putting all my makeup on (well, not ALL of it – but you know…), taking a photo, blogging it, and then taking it off again seemed like a fabulous way to spend my last few weeks of pregnancy.  But then I got a bit addicted to it.

Gouldylox Reviews – I shouldn’t be surprised by how much I’m enjoying Makeup Geek’s eyeshadows, but I can’t get enough of the subtle pop of color in the form of mythical creatures

Lipglossiping – muses over iconic British store Liberty’s foray into the world of bodycare.

Nouveau Cheap – is no longer an Inglot virgin! She finally broke down and purchased some eyeshadows, but did they actually live up to the hype? Come find out.

Pink Sith – manages to work five Eric Carmen songs into her review of the Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow # 27. That’s gotta be some kind of record.

Prime Beauty – takes a look at the new permanent lip collection from Laura Mercier.  Smooth Créme Lip Colour debuts with 18 natural, semi-lustrous shades!

Answer: – When I remember to use such things, I love the new Molton Brown Anti-ageing Body Lotion.  At £60, it costs a fortune (you can tell this was a sample), too much for me to repurchase tbh but I will bloody miss it when it’s gone.

Question of the Week: – What are some of your favorite underrated beauty products (i.e., products not often mentioned in the beauty blogging community)?

Answer: It’s a mouthful but Olay’s Total Effects 7-in-1 Moisturiser & Sensitive Protection SPF15 is making my fussy skin really happy at the moment.  It’s been the only day moisturiser to satisfy a  phase of exagerrated inbalance where I’ve been enjoying a dry, flaky nose combined with super oily cheeks (isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?!).  Also love my Illamasqua brow cake, massive HG and doesn’t get enough blog love.
