It’s almost denimy in it’s loveliness. It’s a beautiful shimmery toned-down blue that totally has that smoky twilight vibe about it.
I flippin’ adore Butter London for their shade range and since they sorted out their initial teething problems with the formula and bottles… they’re remaining my favourite brand.
Some people have issues with wear… I never have but they also do a marvellous base coat that is (apparently) an absolute MUST if you’re the type of person who gets polish chips within the day.
Big Smoke applied beautifully for me and is a must-have for blue polish lovers everywhere.

And that expression is certainly in my arsenal. I am 55 though.
Never tried a Butter polish due to the price tag, but I used to balk at £13 for an Illamasqua and utterly adore them!

Ooh! The Butter London polishes looks too gorgeous! I wish I could buy nearly all of them, but sadly (or luckily, for my economy) we don’t have this brand here in Norway. I’ll have to pick them up next time I’m in the UK. 🙂

Oh my freakin god, I love this!!! You’re right about the denim tinge to it. Fave ever polish is OPI Russian Navy and it kind of reminds me of this, but this one is more bluey and less purple. Gorgeous. Will show The Boy for a little stocking filler for moi … x

LOVE this color! I picked it up when Butter polishes were on Haute Look. Not a huge blue fan, but fell for this color!
lovely products aside, it really bothers me how they brand themselves as ‘London’ but appear to be entirely US-based. they suggest that we pronounce the Thames as ‘Tims’. that’s not even posh sounding…that’s just wrong!

That is such a pretty colour on you! I absolutely adore Butter London for it’s fashion-forward but very flattering colours- as well as their ethos!
It is a pain to get in Australia, there is only one place that I know of in Sydney to buy it, which is probably why I haven’t bought out their entire collection!
