So, I’m a big fan of Mineral Makeup and nothing excites me more than getting a jiffy bag full of teeny baggies containing varying shades of sparkly gorgeousness (yes, I am still a sparkle whore).
I’m forever meaning to share these little hauls with you, as I know the swatches can be useful, but swatching is such a time consuming thing – and time is a commodity that has bottomed out since the birth of Leila.
The next best thing I can do at the moment is share my storage solution for my little piggies…
These are great, I believe they’re meant for nail things – but this is how I use them. I buy these from a seller on eBay who ships from Hong Kong and I pay £4.50 inc. shipping for 24 pots – not bad I reckon!
Any of you collect pigment samples? How do you store them?

Oooh they’re handy. Mine are in a shoe box. Which seller is it? So she sells the containers AND holders together? I’d only need the holders really.

Hey, where do you get your pigment samples from? I’ve been looking around recently as there are so many colours to choose form i think samples are the way to go until i find my faves! Great way to store them too btw! x
Hi Jenn, The little bags drive me crazy to get product out of – they’re useful for keeping the postage costs low from the US though!

@Lauren I get my samples from all over, at the moment, I’ve been loving The She Spaces Astrology Collections, and they’ve just released a gorgeous LE August Collection for the Autumn that I’m itching to get my hands on!
I buy each pot seperately from superdrug/boots etc.. this is so much smarter!!

I know it’s been a while since you posted this but just wondering how these containers held up? I’m looking for something to store my pigments in my makeup kit and need something sturdy that wont leak or come undone easily…also does the box hey come in click together properly and is it quite strong? Sorry for all the questions it’s just it looks perfect for what I need as at the moment all my jars are different sizes and I can’t find something to store them in where they lay flat and are easy to see the colours.

Hi Anita, The containers are fine but the box doesn’t click together so I’m not sure it would be right for you.
