Why don’t these Body Shop Eye Shadows get more love? I’ve collected a beautiful array of neutral shades over the last few years (yes, years… hygiene freaks – bite me).
I don’t think I’ve ever paid full price (£8) for one though…. I usually pick them up off eBay or when they’re in the sale on the Body Shop website, which… btw…. has some of the best sales and discount codes of any beauty website.
You get 1.4g of product for your money and the shadows come in either matte or shimmer finish. The shimmer ones are just beautiful…. they remind me of the MAC Veluxe Pearl finish, heavily pigmented and smooth like butter.
Next time you’re passing your local Body Shop, go check out #07 and come back and tell me it’s not gorgeous!
What underrated products would you happily sing the praises of?
I really like these to I got for in store last christmas for £1 each! What a bargain!
#37 looks like sable. 🙂
i keep popping in there to look at the eyeshadow quads mmmm xxx
i have to admit, i always pass by their makeup products when i’m in the store. i can see i was mistaken! i’ll definitely check it out the next time i’m in a body shop. thanks for sharing!

All of them look truely gorgeous 🙂
Ooh, nice. I love shimmery brown shades!
My best underrated product would be any of Aldi’s skincare products. I just bought their Dead Sea Salt facewash and face scrub and my skin looks better than it has in years. Go to Aldi for all your skincare needs people!!
i think i need #37 in my life 🙂
x
I bought one of these in “Chocolate” a few months ago – it’s brilliant! It’s a really nice dark taupe brown… slightly more on the grey side than brown. And it applies really well.
Body Shop mascara is really good too!
same.. i got one during x’mas sale in store and was only 90p each, and got 2 more from ebay too!
My favourite under-rated product is Prestige’s total intensity eyeliners – they are fab! The colours you have shown look so lovely!
Holy crap those are so pretty, especially #37. And I personally have no problem with owning eyeshadows for years, because its so hard for bacteria to grow in a dry product like that 😀
You know why I think they’re underrated? Firstly because I don’t really associate TBS with eyeshadows..I usually only get skincare bits from there.
Secondly, I think the packagaing on them is dated compared to the packaging on the more snazzy cubes. I personally have never swatched the shadows but your swatches are making me think twice.
They all look beautiful, esp the pink one!
I’ve looked at the eyeshadows before. They’re amazingly pigmented and buttery soft, but I’ve never picked one up before. But after seeing your review, I picked up #37. It looks just like your swatches and makes a great pinky-neutral eye. I’m definitely going to look to The Body Shop for eyeshadows more often.
You know, I was actually thinking this about Body Shop makeup recently, because the only makeup from there that I haven’t liked has been their foundation products. I have one of their eyeshadow cube quads, and I bloomin’ love it, and I recently got the lip n cheek stain, and that’s fab too!
Those middle two shades look amazing!!!
TBS eyeshadows are usually amazingly pigmented, but I somehow find myself completely passing by them…
Will try and have a look next time though! 🙂
xx
l love TBS eyeshadows too! In fact, I love most of the TBS makeup line (aside from the majority of the base products which are too dark/yellow)! It is a shame they don’t get more love but at least that means there’s plenty for us. =p
