Thinking it would be a great space-saving idea to pack a couple of dresses and woollen tights for London means that I’m more than over winter now. Move along, make some room for Spring please.
With this in mind, I’m thinking warmth. I’m channeling sunshine, balmy evenings and cloudless days. And nothing evokes warm sub-tropical feelings better than the sweet scent of Frangipani. Discovering the Hei Poa Monoi Beauty Oil whilst browsing Zuneta, has left me in a “I must have this immediately” frame of mind. Oh, you know the one! Yeah you do….
It’s a multi-use product. I like those, I have so much crap variety of products in my bathroom, that I’m in dire need of a bit of space-saving. You can use the Hei Poa Monoi Beauty Oil on your hair or your skin. I’ve never really had a great relationship with hair oils (hello greasies!) but my skin drinks body oils up like my Nan in a Guiness factory.
Produced in Tahiti and priced at £9, Hei Poa beauty oils are completely natural, containing no preservatives or colourants. They promise to leave skin and hair delicately scented and nourished. Yes Please!
Hei Poa products can be purchsed from Zuneta, I’m off to check out what else I feel like being tempted by on this miserable Tuesday afternoon!
Ha! Sounds like your nan should meet my father-in-law! I love this stuff – smells great in a retro sort of way. I used to stockpile it on trips to France. It does tend to go solid in the bathroom after a while tho. Remember Nuxe oil? That’s another great ‘multi-usage’
You BITCH! i’ve clicked the link & now shopping! pffft!! haha xxx
I’ve tried this out before – it’s quite lovely, smells fabulous, and was great in the bath, on the dry tips of my hair, and rubbed into cuticles. Worth the price, IMHO, and I think HQHair have been selling this for years!
I have a version of this in a Vanilla scent, complete with a vanilla bean inside. While the scent was too strong for me, I became fascinated by its low melting point. I live in Texas where its normally very warm, but can get quite cold in the winter. (I.e. approximately 3 weeks out of the year.) Its normally in liquid form, but when it gets cold out, suddenly it’s solid and difficult/impossible to get out of the bottle. If you want to use it when it’s cold out, keep it in a warm place!
I love these oils. In summer i slather the shimmery on to look glowy on my body and not greasy! <3 the brand!
hey there, I use the Elemis Frangipani Monoi Melt (or its called something like that…..) and adore it. It’s bloody pricey though, so I’m thinking this may be a cheaper alternative. Another item for the “need immediatley” list. thanks x
oh man, i’m fighting the immense urge to click and browse Zuneta… too much work to do! are you planning on buying this and trying it? i can’t imagine putting oil in my hair (i’ve got crazy grease problems, too…) but i’ve heard good things about body oils! n_n
I’ve bought it, I’ve bought it!
Can’t wait to try 🙂 Will let you all know what it’s like!
Hi Charlotte. I noticed last night my hair is horribly frazzled, and had a look through your site for any ideas on hair treatment. I found this post and have just bought the product. How did you get on with it?
