It’s undoubtedly their duochromes that set Nubar apart from the competition and I’ve got a very pretty one to show you today. Indigo Illusion is a liac/blue/green/grey infusion of colour that dances on the nails depending on the amount of light hitting it and from what angle it strikes.
Three smooth coats will ensure a fully opaque finish from a brand that is fast becoming one of my favourites. No top coat in the above image either.

You know I am all about the duochromes, and I’m excited to see that a trend for them seems to be building lately. This one reminds me of OPI’s Not Like in the Movies, except that one has silver sparkles/microglitter in the mix too.
If I could invent a duochrome (disregarding the laws of physics that determine which ones are possible) it would be orange and yellow on a navy blue base.

This nail varnish is absolutely stunning! Have you seen the new models own ones that will be coming out soon? They are such gorgeous duochromes.

What a funny coincidence – I literally just bought this colour on BeautyBay last week. I’ve been staring at my nails in fascination ever since.
Ooeee, that’s nice. That’s a good question – if I made a duochrome it’d have green, purple and gold in it.
Now that’s one of the nicest colours I’ve seen! I can see reds, greens, and purples in there with a hint of cream (oh no I sound like Jilly Goolden doing one of her wine tastings ) Absolutely love it !

This reminds me of an old Collection 2000 polish that I still have (the lid was stuck shut for years), I think it’s really similar to this except pale blue where this is green.
That’s a beaut. I am so into holo polishes and duochromes right now rather than the usual autumnal purples and reds 🙂
