Fifty quid is a lot of money to spend on an eyeshadow palette when you’ve got brands like Urban Decay banging ’em out for under £40 but I came across some photos of this Smashbox palette from a press day when I was archiving some pictures and thought I’d tell you a bit about this rather pretty offering from Smashbox.
The potential to be a neutral lovers dream, the Smashbox Softbox Nude Eyeshadow Palette is a good choice for everyday looks with a few matte inclusions to encourage a broad appeal. It features nine muted eyeshadow shades and two cream liners (one on each end). Also included is a double ended brush making it an attractive proposition for those who are looking for a single set of wearable shadows in one compact package.
At fifty pounds, it’s not cheap but that is also one of the reasons I’m posting about it today. The Smashbox Softbox Nude Eyeshadow Palette was released as a limited edition Summer launch so if it is catching your eye, keep an eye out for potential bargains on this palette across the web or perhaps even instore at Debenhams as the Autumn/Winter products supercede.

Looks like the Too Faced Naked or Neutral Eyeshadow Palette that retails at less than £30 i believe!
I really like this palette 🙂 I reviewed it a short while back and I think its a very nice very neutral palette. Wish they’d made it more compact though. This is a little bulky but definitely a good one to pick up on sale.
I have this – the best part is the eyeshadow brush that comes with it. I LOVE that brush. I’ve considered returning the palette because I have the Naked Palette and some matte Inglot eyeshadow that together dupe the whole palette, but I just can’t give up the brush.
I also absolutely love the bronze cream liner.
It’s very pretty, but at £50, I will give it a miss. Got two pairs of FitFlops on sale for £50 plus free shipping!

I like this palette – but I feel like it’s in the same family of oversaturated naked/nude/neutral palettes that have been released since UD’s Naked. They’re all beautiful but they’re all so gosh darn similar!
I find this palette is better than UD, colors with variety from everything from a nude to natural to dramatic. The cream taupe eyeliner alone is fab!
I don’t think it’s a lot when you think how much you’d spend on a single eyeshadow/liner. Seems quite reasonable!
I can’t believe there’s a £20 difference between the Debs and QVC prices! Shocking!
