You can keep your Andrex puppies and their loo roll-pulling antics because Zoya Kendal has super-softness in the bag. This beautiful polish from the American brand is simply perfect. A gorgeous greyed-lavender creme that incites visions of mist-swirled candyfloss.
The formula is also divine, reaching full opacity in two fuss-free, streak-free coats. You may be able to tell that this is my favourite polish of the year so far…. making me want to retrospectively check out the rest of the Zoya Feel Collection from last winter (thank heavens for eBay).
If you’re finding Zoya Kendal a little too simplistic or cold for your tastes, these kind of muted pastels are my absolute favourite for enhancing with a little glitter. In this case, Butter London’s Tart with a Heart did the honours…
Ethereal, delicate, beautiful and blinging to the max!
Zoya Kendal is available to buy online from beauty4nails-body.co.uk, priced at £7.99
I like it with the glitter topcoat, but then I’m a magpie!
I’m not usually, but glitter pastels are hard to resist! I bought a new holographic polish the other day and thought of you!
ooh I have this one…not tried it yet! I like how it’s a greyed out cool lavender rather than the warmer kind which can clash with my pale skin tone.
And a Zoya with a great formula….that’s one to hold on to!
Get it on! I’m slowly (rapidly) falling in love with Zoya… they have great promotions for their U.S. customers too. *stamps feet*
What a pretty shade! And it looks even prettier with the glittery top coat.
sometimes, a little sparkle makes everything prettier haha!
Looks gorgeous with the glitter top coat!
It’s a really nice combo – gonna try it with a pale green pastel tomorrow!
Oh my giddy aunt.
There is was staring at that gorgeous shade and then BAM you go and add glitter and make it 4 bajillion times more delicious.
Sweet nelly that is a perfect polish.
You just know when you hit on a good combination don’t you? Most of mine tend to lean too gaudy to be hawt but this one stays kinda understated
I love it xx
Cheers Tass xx
ooh i turned down some of the soft shades thinking they might be too wishy washy for my skin tone but now I am gutted I didn’t get this, so might be purchasing soon!
Oh no Kelly, get on ’em! I’ve got my eye on the cornflower blue one from the collection too!
My problem is that I love brights, holo’s and glitters so they take my eye line away from pastels!
I love it more without the glitter, but I guess I may be glittered-out? This shade looks positively lovely and chic on you!
Oooh you understated minx! Have you been glitter-i-fying everything that doesn’t move?
I love it with the glitter topcoat. Chic but with a touch of sparkle!
The muted tones definitely keeps the sparkle on the down-low! x
Zoya does some amazing colors & this one is so flattering on you just by itself! They have an awesome selection of soft colors like these. Bevin from the Spring 2012 collection is my absolute favourite 🙂
Ahhh! I love the soft, slightly-desaturated lavender of Kendal on its own, but — glitter. GLITTER! /helpless flails
