If I listen carefully enough, I can hear whoops of joy from 1000s of women south of Watford. You see, we haven’t had easy access to the inexpensive, uber-tan St. Moriz. Alas, we’re not deserving enough of B&M Stores, Home Bargains or TJ Hughes. Infact, when the fake tanner took the beauty blogging world by storm a couple of years ago I remember scouring the aisles of my local TK Maxx for months trying to source a bottle!
Well, we can stop feeling excluded because Mr. T is bringing St. Moriz to the masses.
From the 3rd August, you’ll be able to nab a bottle along with your weekly shop and until the end of the month, it’s on introductory offer:
St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse Medium (Introductory price of £3.99 – RRP £4.99) until 30th August 2011
St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse Dark (Introductory price of £3.99 – RRP £4.99) until 30th August 2011
St. Moriz Self Tanning Lotion (Introductory price of £3.99 – RRP £4.99) until 30th August 2011
Not only that but when you buy any St. Moriz product you will receive a 75ml Tan Maximising Body Exfoliating Polish, absolutely free*.
It’s turning out to be a resolutely dodgy Summer but at least we can get our glow on for less than a fiver!
Do you use St. Moriz? Got any application tips?
* while stocks last
I love St Moriz! I don’t use it that often but the best tip I can give to anyone is apply it at night or when you don’t plan to leave the house and let the tan develop for at least 8 hours. Don’t get worried too much if it goes streaky, jump in to a shower after it’s developed (or when you wake up if you done it at night) and it leaves a nice glow and the streaks correct themselves. No one seems to do that here, they just apply it and leave it and it usually looks horrible haha! x
Yaay! Hate having to locate a Home Bargains near me. Great excuse to try the new lotion too.
Woo! My local Home Bargains doesn’t have the lotion in and I’m looking forward to trying that. I find mousses awkward, I dropped some on the cream carpet in my bedroom!!!
Off-topic; when I read Watford I think a little monkey in my head backflipped, since I don’t live too far. On topic; these prices man. I never thought I’d say this but… I need to get myself to Tesco.
Do they have anything appropriate for adding *just* a hint of color to blindingly white legs? (I’m in the Southwest!)
Hi Ann,
I like the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs… You used to be able to get it mega cheap in places like Savers but to be honest, I haven’t seen it for ages. For my uber pale (read blue milkbottle) legs, I used to use Nude Glow.
Thanks! I’ll check that out 🙂
They have it in my local B&M never tried tho
I don’t want to be a party-pooper but after doing a quick search I found St Moriz on Amazon and FragranceDirect. I don’t have any of those stores you mentioned near me either (St Albans) but this fake tan seems readily available IMO.
Hi Charlotte,
You can get it on eBay too but I never wanted to pay as much as the tan itself cost in postage ontop. Btw, it costs like £2.99 in those other stores I mentioned… hence paying £6.00 for a bottle (I’m talking 2010 online prices – I don’t know what they are nowadays) didn’t seem like a great deal at the time.
This is no doubt very good news for all the ladies (and tan-loving males)but I am wondering why Tesco are going to put a much higher price tag on it?
I mean, 4.99 is not really that bad but I can get it for 1.99 at my local discounted store… seems strange that they’ve added such a markup!
