Continuing with my Wet n’ Wild palettes, today’s show is Silent Treatment. I knew I’d like this one but well, this is just silly beautiful.
The browbone shade is gonna see a lot of use… it’s a lovely match for me to blend out harsh edges. I applied the crease shade higher than I would normally and left my outer v lighter.
I think I like the effect… I’m not brilliant at applying eyeshadow but this seemed to open my eyes a little more though the overall effect was more dramatic than I’d usually wear during daylight hours!
Weird angles… but it shows the eyeshadow FAR better than my usual attempts!
These palettes are a little dusty with a degree of fall out but boy, am I loving them nonetheless. We’re missing out on a trick here UK ladies.
Oh that’s lovely! We don’t get these here too but I’ve tried the other Color Icon palette (4 colours?) and they are lovely too. Whats your lip colour, by the way? I’m loving it!
Lip colour is GOSH Starlet… I bought it on eBay, I think it’s discontinued x
These Wet n’ Wild Palettes seem to have quite the pigmentation for their price. I’m impressed!
Charlotte, you appear to have a lot of crease-to-brow space [like myself] and I always find myself applying my “crease” color above the actual crease and blending upwards. I love to use the flat side of the MAC 217, turn were the color is on the top and place the edge into my crease, so the color applies on top of the crease. Then I usually rotate 90º and blend away. :o) Just an idea for you.
I totally agree with that, I have to do that too!
I also apply color a little above my actual crease since my eyes are so deep set. I had a Trish McEvoy “makeover” and that was the technique the MUA wanted me to use. And it works!
Thank you so much, it’s nice to have validation for what to me is just me bumbling about! I’ll definitely try it with more purpose next time!
I have this too and absolutely adore it. The quality is amazing.
These colors look very pretty on you, great look!
I’ve just been in contact with my friend in Canada and she’s very kindly agreed to send me some of these! I like a natural eye to go with my green eyes, but not too pale, any suggestions Charlotte? Stuck between ‘Silent Treatment’, ‘Walking on Eggshells’ or ‘Knock On Wood’. Help!
Hi Ali,
I really think this one is the most ‘interesting’ of the three you’ve mentioned. But I’ve also just worn “I’m getting sunburned” and the crease colour in that is AMAZING against my green eyes. Have a Google and I’ll put that FOTD up next x
These colors look gorgeous on you! It’s so fun reading the wet n wild posts 🙂
Thank you m’lady – I’m loving playing with your generous gifts x
I loved this one on Temptalia and bought 2 off eBay (one for my sister for Christmas) and it’s gorgeous. The crease colour is super pigmented though – I way over applied it the first time!
Ooooh, this one looks very pretty. I love that lid shade!
This looks like a a really expensive eyeshadow palette – like Chanel, lol!
Wowzers. Looks amazing on you *dry humps your leg*
In all seriousness, that’s very pretty!
I love this specific trio so much that I bought a back-up when I could find one. I think I have 4-5 of the trio’s and all 4 of the 2010 holiday 6-pans. I’m in love with all their shadows now and can’t wait for the new trio’s that Nouveau Cheap showed yesterday
Oohh you’re making me really miss being brunette! Love that color combo on you, looks so sultry <3
You look gorgeous! These palettes are awesome, too bad Wet n Wild is not available here anymore.
Look at you Hot Mama! Stunning!!
I have this one and it is by far my favorite!
It really is beautiful. None of the other 3 pans have tempted me but this one definitely does.
I consider having access to Wet n Wild consolation for the fact that we don’t get the Sleek palettes here. We need to pair up and trade back and forth!
shady makeup dealing in dark corners… sounds good! 😀
LOVE that eyeshadow look and the lip colour! *steals your face*
I’ve been seeing this palette on so many blogs. Definitely a must-get! Looks really fab! =)
