Easily my most expensive bottle ml for ml… Le Metier de Beaute’s Magic at Dusk was released alongside their autumn/fall collection this year and I couldn’t resist picking it up.
It’s an exquisite mix of blue and purple that looks positively electric on the nails but for all that… I don’t have a huge amount of love for this polish.
It’s a 3/4 coater and for this depth of colour… we should be able to achieve opacity in 2 coats.
You also only get 4ml of product for £10, so I’m estimating that the manicure shown above has cost me at least a quid. It’s a very fast drying polish but the tiny brush is difficult to wield with any grace which resulted in drag marks across the nail bed and the need for a 4th coat.
I pretty much dislike everything about this polish except for the colour.
The colour is gorgeous. But the price! Eeeeep!
Nice colour, but why is that bottle all glass and no product?! How annoying about the application – when you pay premium prices, you expect it to go on like a dream! x
I’m shocked about the tiny container – frankly I’d rather pay 20£ for 8ml even though it’s just as expensive. The colour is beautiful though.
good grief, this is almost obscene, but colour is fab and bottle is c-cute!
OMG! I have pillows in this color!
(I swear, I’m actually a serious thoughtful person, just not when it comes to indulging my love of beauty – then I turn into a 14 year old fangirl, apparently!)
Wow that’s expensive! Beautiful color though, I think it looks somewhat similar to China Glaze First Class Ticket 🙂

That’s a pretty shade but the bottle’s too small and what a shame that application is so annoying. I would have expected better considering the price.
I’ve never seen a color like that before, that’s gorgeous!
How do you paint your nails like that? The bottom part looks SO perfect :]

There must be a cheaper dupe for this somewhere. Revlon?
Oh my lord, that really *is* exquisite! Dare I say it may even be worth all its downfalls?
