Not my colour… too clashy and obnoxious against my skintone… but on the right person, this could be a real conversation starter (in a good way!)
Barielle’s Aura Angora is an opaque, creamy mustard. It’s more wearable than I thought it would be, though I think it would suit shorter fingernails better.
Formula throughout the collection is consistent, three coats needed to achieve that perfect finish but all provide a high gloss shine.
Ok, maybe you kept the real gems for the end but I don’t think I am digging this collection. Maybe it’s too ‘creme’ for me to love it. x
Hmmm reminds me of caramels/toffees/werthers originals. not for me either, but good coverage.
This color reminds me of Hayley Williams from the Band Paramore…i think she’d love it, though I don’t completely understand why I suddenly thought of her, must be the uniqueness of the shade…the color makes me think of cheese hehehe…
I didn’t think I would like this colour when I saw it in the bottle but I must admit it looks really good. 🙂
xo
It looks like cold curry or baby sick/poo. Not for me! x
Hmm, I find myself oddly liking it – it’s pumpkin-y.
I can’t give Aura Angora any love. Just scrubbed a blob of cat vom out of the carpet and it was EXACTLY THIS COLOR. The idea of voluntarily coating mustard-esque cat yak polish on my fingernails horrifies me.
Excuse me, I need to go paint my nails with something purple and sparkly so I can calm down.
This is for me. Wish the BOGOF was on this collection!
It is!! xx
You ought to rename your blog nailgossiping, you’ve been reviewing so many nail polishes lately. 😀
I second what Long Tall Ally said. Love Barielle’s formula, but the colour is definitely not for me.
I love it! After buying Butter London Bumster, I am really liking the mustard nail look. This was the Barielle swatch I was most excited to see – thanks!
I didn’t think I would have liked this color but it’s actually very pretty. I don’t think it’d look too good on me either though.
love this! it’s the only shade i bought from the fall collection. i was kinda disappointed in it. i like browns as much as the next polish fiend, but a whole set of them? odd.
Ack that’s a vile colour!
Anyone know how to mix the two colors Aurora and Cowl so as to get the effect in the Argyle ad?
