Soleil indeed…
Paul & Joe‘s Soleil is a juicy tangerine shade from Spring 2009 (though still available online). It’s a shimmery jelly shade with a few golden sparkles thrown in for good measure. Oh… and let’s not forget the typically beautiful Paul & Joe packaging *swoon*
I was on the hunt for a juicy but non-neon orange and this fits the bill perfectly. The above shows 4 coats with a topper of Seche Vite. I think it could probably do with a few more bits of sparkle, as you can see it’s only really my middle finger that managed to attract any gold specks.
Is orange a shade that you’re into at the moment? It’s not a favourite on my skin tone, but nothing screams Summer quite like it!
Hmm not a fan of that shade on you, don’t like the finish either. I’d only wear a creme orange.
absolutely love this, very unusual colour! so jealous paul and joe aren’t available in Ireland. I was in Harrods at Xmas and was excited that they had paul and joe but it wasn’t a counter just a load of stuff thrown in a basket, disappointing!
My god. that’s it. paul and joe have got the best packaging in the world. i mean, just look at this beauty: woah!!! This colour is to die for, and sunny juicy tangerine it is. Four coats demands patience, but definitely worth it. This would not suit my colour tone either, i would feel i need to be tanned to wear this, but it remains a true gem: yummie.
I like the flecks in this but I’m so hesitant of orange with my skin tone.
The color looks so pretty and I love the packaging. I’m not sure I could pull it off though.
Oooh, dupe alert! I went a bit during Superdrugs last 2 for £5 Barry M and picked up (amongst others) Tangerine, no. 136. Lacks the bigger gold flecks, but is otherwise veeery similar.
@CountryGirly – Oooh sounds good!
@baby in a corner – Ugh, they should only be allowed to put things in baskets if they’re gonna discount them. Heavily!
That colour is lovely, I’d definitely wear that!!
@lipglossiping, yeah was so excited about harrod’s in general but it let me down (well the cosmetic hall anyway)! twas my first trip to London but it was just packed to the gills with tourists (ok I was one but i was planning to buy something if i had been able to walk around) and there seemed very little space anyway to walk around with tables full of discounted things everywhere!
Enjoyed selfridges though and the standalone make up boutiques in Covent Garden!
Oh god i love the packaging so much! But so pricey :O
