I have a question for you: how do you find out what colour your skin is according to this categorisation I read a lot about e.g. NC50 skin. I’m sure you’ll be able to point me straight to a relevant website, won’t you?

Honestly, it’s a bit trial and error unless you go into a MAC store and swatch those shades against your skin.
A great starting place would be Karla’s blog for some fabulous swatches. That should narrow you down to a few shades… then you’d really need to head instore to fine tune your selection.
