If I said I didn’t like this polish very much… I’d be being kind.
I actually don’t usually dislike polishes, I can make most formulas work for me with a bit of adjustment in how I paint… either that or the colour is so lovely that it redeems itself once on my nails.
I’ve fallen out with this Eyeko Purple polish and no amount of chocolates or flowers is gonna smooth over the cracks in our relationship. So what’s wrong with it?
It drags at the cuticles quite heavily… it’s painfully slow drying… it’s gloopy gloop city… it bubbled on the second coat and after all that, the colour is blah and easily dupable in a better formula.
Actually, this feels like Eyeko polishes of old… if I were you, I’d stick to the pastels.
Essh. Have you tried adding some of the Seche Restore to it? Might help with the gloppyness?
omg, what a disappointment. this was the one I was most looking forward to read about. If you had problems applying it, there is no way a simple mortal would be able to apply it decently, thank you for the review. such a gorgeous shade though. love it. x
It looks very similar to barrym purple which i am wearing now and is really lovely! 🙂
wow I’m envious of your long nails though!
Ah this sounds poop. I have got this to review and am not looking forward to it! x
Aw, I quite like this colour, anyone know a good dupe for it with a decent formula?
I love the color but I can see the texture is noting close to what it normally is.
What a disappointment.
Also the colour is pretty nice, but i certainly wouldn’t call it ‘electric’ like the label does!
Boo 🙁 the colour is so pretty, it’s a shame that the formula sucks so hard
Aww, that’s disappointing 🙁 The colour is lovely, but… eeeeeeh, gloop city is gross. Have you tried thinning it with polish thinner or remover, perhaps?
The color is beautiful, what a shame about the formula!
I love that color but have read a few reviews on it and they’re all mentioning it being bubbly and taking ages to dry.
It’s something I’ve come to expect from Eyeko- never know what to expect.
