Released as part of the Holiday Wishes 2009 collection (like SO last year sweetie!) I’m still rocking this one on my nails, clinging onto the last vestiges of Christmas before the total bleakness of pre-Spring sets in. Wow, that was cheerful.
This is a beautiful bronzed shade flecked through with multi-coloured chunks of glitter of irregular sizes.
Application was Lipglossiping-friendly and it has so far lasted 6 days without a top coat. Tip wear is moderate and it hasn’t chipped at all. Removal? Don’t ask… I’m too scared to do it. Perhaps I’ll just leave it on ’till next Christmas!
Did you buy any of the Holiday Wishes Collection shades? I really wanted Merry Midnight and Holiday Glow aswell but they were out of stock by the time I got round to buying 🙁
That is gorgeous. I didn’t get round to buying any of the collection, money has been a bit tight recently. Must make up for it this year!!
@Claire – Oh you must, although I haven’t been hugely impressed with the look of any of the collections so far 🙁
Pretty color and it does suit you alot. 🙂 xx
@Makeupdivaa – Thank you!
OoO. That looks beautiful on! I suspect this will be my next mani! Glad I picked this up! =)
@Jeweled Thumb – Yay! Hope you love it!
That’s so pretty! I’d just leave it on forever 🙂
@Ndoodles – Isn’t it? It’s understated glamour!
It looks lovely. I got Merry Midnight and it’s very pretty. I intend to wear it year round :-), It seems to last very well too, I put two coats on my toenails on Christmas Eve and it’s still there, hardly chipped.
I managed to get the last bottle of China Glaze Emerald Sparkle in sally’s the other day though, so I think a pedicure is in order. I like thye idea of twinkling toenails hidden under two pairs of socks and my snow boots!
@claire – Jealous of Merry Midnight! Some OPI’s last amazingly well on me too, but others chip off in a matter of hours. Emerald Sparkle is definitely on my list for next Christmas!
This color does nothing for me. None of the swatches I’ve seen of it have interested me at all. I did pick up Ginger Bells though which I love, such a weird color lol!
@Nicole – Oh I loved quite a few! Ginger Bells was an odd one (in an interesting way!)
no i din splurge on any nail items for months… as i have stock up quite a lot for the early of last yr.
this color is more of a low profile glam for me.. prefer fine glitters one.
@Sizbelle – You’re very restrained! I hated glitters until about a month ago when I gave them another go. Still hate the removal, but they’re so glam!
I actually don’t like the combination of the bronze colour and the orangey-gold specks, I’d prefer just a bronze colour. The wearability – if that word made sense – seems really attractive though. Oh, I really wantttttt OPI polishes.. so badddd. 😉
@Dv – Oohhh I love the gold glitter in it!! You need to get an OPI, love them!
ooooh this is one of my all time favorite OPIs 🙂 gorrrrrrgeous!
@Kelliegonzo – I really surprised myself how much I liked it, I got Holiday Glow on the way over from your shores too! Can’t wait – I don’t care that Christmas is over!
