~ The weather, it’s the height of summer for gawd’s sake!
~ Wiping baby bottoms and sterilising bottles, ’nuff said
~ My local superdrug not stocking Sleek

~ Still not being able to achieve a decent eyeliner flick – damn it.
I have been semi practicing the eyeliner flick for a year and have only recently mastered it, I’d try and give you tips but sadly I’m so lame that you wouldn’t understand them.. I finally got the flick with the useless BB gel liner brush and I kinda just dragged it along the eye and then turned it a bit as I got to the end and it flicked out which was nice. Usually I get one side flicked nice and thin and the other is just a fat line, booo!
Oh you’re so lucky having a CCO near you? What did it have in there??? Don’t even talk to me about the weather – just hurry up and snow already!!!
I need to go to the CCO near me soon! I have heard it’s great 🙂
I hope you don’t mind that I did this, but I’ve started posting my fav blog of the week, and you are the first, this week!#
Check it out 🙂
Hugs xxx
@Rhamnousia – one thick, one thin! That’s my specialty!! It’s even worse when the first flick comes out perfect, ‘cos then I’m standing infront of the mirror psyching myself up to fo do the other eye thinking – “you can do it, don’t rush it… nearly done… oh bollocks…” I seem to have better luck with an angled brush than a pointy one… practice, practice, practice! Thanks for commenting!
Hey Yinka,
Ner ner ner ner ner, they had too many beautiful things to mention… blinded by the pretty makeup, I was like a pig in shit. I bought Perfect Topping MSF and Light Medium/Natural and Shimmer MSF (£24 for both) I wanted a fluidline but they only had Royal Wink which was a bit bright for me. They had a smaller selection of Bobbi Brown, some Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder… they had some fragrances. The Mac eyeshadows ran at around £7/8 each to give an idea of prices.
@Sophie,
Of course I don’t mind, how kind is that? I fell massively honoured, thank you Chicka!
And yes, definitely head to your nearest CCO ’tis fab!
You are blessed to have a CCO near you man! Would love to just see what they have in stock. As for superdrug not stocking sleek in all their stores…..oh my freaking days. not cool.
The art of flick shall come to you soon! At least you lost weight with your baby. You are blessed!
You are sooo lucky having lost weight! By the way – Hydralock=love!
@Deborah
I know!! My Superdrug is pretty large aswell, I’m gonna request it next time I’m in., maybe if enough people do… we’ll get it.
Much love xxxx
Hi Jenn,
I am very lucky, although I had a fair amount spare to lose (and still do!!) All I did was swap the refined carbs for unrefined alternatives (soy and linseed bread (Burgen) instead of white, long-grain brown instead of basmati rice etc…) the weight fell off me. Missed chocolate though!
